Episode 15: Gargoyles - Corpsewood Manor and Eastern State Penitentiary

Well, between the state of the world (in particular the US), it being Mama Ducky’s birthday (Lizza = Just Ducky) and the depression monster taking over, this episode is super late. But it’s actually being released so I’m counting it as a win! Sometimes it’s the little victories when the depression monster comes out to play.

This week is a bit of a long one because there are so many things going on that need to be discussed and addressed before we can even dive into the spooky scary stories for the week. Just a reminder that Black Lives STILL Matter even if the major news coverage is cutting back. Also, it is Pride month and we stand with all of our LGBTQ+ friends because Love is Love and everyone deserves to be the person they feel like on the inside, unless you are a serial killer, then not so much.

For our spooky and scary we visit 1980’s Georgia and the stupidly senseless murders of Dr. Charles Scudder and his partner Joseph Odem with a tiny sprinkling of the Satanic Panic that swept the country in that decade. Then we head over to Pennsylvania for one of the heavy hitters in the paranormal world, Eastern State Penitentiary. Find out it’s grisly history and it’s plethora of current ghostly inhabitants, as well as good dose of Ghost Adventures/Zak Bagans taunting and confrontation. BRO! You are not going to want to miss out on this one.
